Description: | Help your community in the battle against food insecurity! Like many areas of daily life, due to the pandemic, our mobile food distribution is more important than ever. Our partnership mobile food distribution with Harvesters takes place twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday. Remaining dates for December are: Dec 8th and 22nd. Distribution takes place at the Douglas County Fairgrounds at 19th & Harper with registration for clients beginning at 8:30am. Come dressed weather-appropriate, with a mask, and gloves if you have them. If not, we can provide. Recipients drive through the arena, and volunteers, once we've unloaded the truck, will do a no-contact loading into cars. We follow all safety guidelines and procedures for COVID-19. Volunteers can expect to be there from 8am to approximately 12pm. We can use all the helpers we can get and you are all appreciated more than you know!
