Our mission is to support KanCare (Kansas Medicaid) members in navigating the Medicaid system and to resolve problems regarding services, coverage, access and rights.

Certified Ombudsman Volunteers are the heart of this program. You don’t have to be an expert on Medicaid to volunteer; you will learn as you help others. Volunteers receive, at no cost, a minimum of 30 hours training and mentoring by an experienced staff member prior to starting their services as well as ongoing education.
