About Us
Ronald McDonald House Charities Wichita provides vital resources and compassionate care to children and their families being served by community health care providers. The Ronald McDonald House program provides temporary lodging, food, and amenities to families who live at least 30 miles from Wichita, KS and have a child, 21 years or younger, receiving care from local healthcare providers. Expectant mothers, who live at least 30 miles from Wichita, KS, experiencing a high-risk pregnancy are also eligible to stay at the House. The Ronald McDonald Family Room, located in Wesley Children's Hospital just steps away from the pediatric intensive care unit, pediatrics, and not far from the neonatal intensive care unit, offers a place of refuge to relax for families whose children have been hospitalized because of illness or injury.
