About Us
CASA of the Fourth Judicial District recruits, trains, and supports community volunteers to advocated for the best interests of children in our district's Family Court system until they have a safe, permanent, and homelike placement. Applicants should complete the application form that includes 3 written references, background screening, and a personal interview. If selected, volunteers will complete a Pre-Service Training and be sworn in as a volunteer. Volunteers can expect to spend 2-3 hours a week volunteering in Child in Need of Care cases. That includes court hearings, case plan meetings, and other interviews. That is 2-3 hours a week that you can spend towards changing the life of a child who needs you.
