The Volunteer Maintenance Technician role requires in-person participation and work at the Wichita American Red Cross chapter. The primary responsibilities include performing and/or coordinating the maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of Red Cross facilities. Specific duties include: • Completing maintenance work orders for chapter facilities. • Conducting regular inspections of buildings to identify repair or maintenance needs as they arise. • Performing various maintenance and repair tasks such as painting, and carpentry, based on individual skill level and training. • Serving as the local POC for maintenance service contractors, ensuring that their work is completed in a timely manner. • Participating in office relocation efforts as needed. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of Red Cross facilities.
