Description:

Paws for comfort - Pet therapy program Qualifications * Pets must be well-behaved and groomed, comfortable around strangers, received obedience training, have updated shot records and obtain a certificate of good health from a licensed veterinarian. * The pet and owner will be interviewed by the volunteer coordinator and branch director at the hospice office. Prior to assignment - Pet owners will complete the standard volunteer onboarding process, which includes a drug test, background check and 8 hours of orientation.
