Description:

A CASA Volunteer is appointed by the court to advocate for the best interest of the child in need of care. Volunteers establish one-on-one relationships with the children they serve. They investigate facts of child's circumstances through interviews and visits with those involved in a child's life. Volunteers also monitor and recommend services, in compliance with court orders, to the child and family. They report factual information to the judge and most importantly bring stability to the life of a child by staying with the child until their case is officially closed and the child has a stable, safe home.
