Description:

The YWCA Center for Safety and Empowerment, provides free, confidential services to victims of domestic and sexual violence, stalking, and human trafficking in Shawnee, Jackson, and Wabaunsee Counties. We offer safety, support, prevention. Assist us by staffing the CSE Reception Desk. You will answer the phone and greet clients arriving for services, and help with data entry and compilation. You may be assisting in organizing the food and supply pantry and in accepting, recording, and organizing other donations. The CSE Reception Desk Volunteer directly advances the mission of the YWCA by compassionately and confidentially greeting and assisting survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

Background check and training required. Shifts are 4 hours, either 9-1 or 1-5, Monday - Friday. We r
