Description:

The Sedgwick County RSVP Transportation Program provides rides for older adults in need to medical, social, shopping, or other errands. Volunteers will be covered by excess automobile insurance and are eligible to receive mileage reimbursement. Our transportation service currently serves individuals in the following locations: Bentley, Cheney, Clearwater, Derby, Mt. Hope, Mulvane, Park City, and Valley Center. RSVP volunteers are eligible for excess automobile, excess medical, and volunteer liability insurance through RSVP. Volunteers that drive over 71 miles/mo are eligible for gas mileage reimbursement at $0.14 per gallon, per IRS requirements. Monthly reimbursement does not exceed $15.

Age 55+, pass background check, valid driver's license and automobile insurance. Volunteers do use
