Description:

Envision's Homework Club meets Monday afternoons from 5:30 - 6:45 pm. Volunteers would do 1:1 academic tutoring. Grade levels of students range from kindergarten to high school. Mentors with strong skills in general mathematics, algebra, and geometry are wanted. The Envision Homework Club provides individual and small group tutoring to blind and visually impaired youth in grades 2 through high school. The program gives students valuable mentorship to help them be academically successful. We help build the study skills, habits and attitudes that students need to succeed in school and in life. Our mentors are college- and career-age volunteers who are warm, caring and interested in helping children succeed. With parent permission, we partner with each students teacher to ensure progress.
