CVL is looking for creative, energized volunteers to serve on one of a number of the organization's committees. As a young, grassroots non-profit, CVL's committee volunteers play a pivotal role in enabling the organization to serve the community through outreach, volunteer recruitment and management, and fundraising. A CVL committee volunteer is someone who cares about the Lawrence community and is interested in playing a role in the growth of Community Village Lawrence. They may have any number of talents and interests to offer or may be interested in playing more of a leadership role in the organization. Volunteers have the chance to serve on one of eight committees, including volunteer, membership, fund development, outreach, finance, services, and organizational support. Full descriptions of each committee can be found at our website. Duties and Responsibilities: Attend and participate in regular committee meetings, usually monthly. Complete tasks and attend events as required by the committee.
