Description: | Therapeutic riding, above all, works to provide individuals with disabilities with a better quality of life. The true therapist is the horse, as its gentle motion stimulates muscles and increases circulation, balance, strength, and control. In addition, the riders emotional skills are improved, such as concentration, patience, self-esteem, and interpersonal relationships. Therapeutic riding truly creates a special bond between horse, rider, instructor and volunteers. |
