Description:

Legacy activities are a way for hospice patients to share special moments through meaningful conversations that help individuals, families and caregivers review the life of a dying person, and produce a meaningful project that serves as a living memory after the individual's death. Can include creating a scrapbook/photo album, binder of favorite recipes, a collection of favorite songs or hymns, a quilt made out of favorite T-shirts, hand prints in plaster, write cards or purchase gifts for a future birthday, holiday or special occasion, write a poem or a song, plant a tree, and more.
